Our mission is to establish an accessible baking supply store business that will make available a wide range of baking supplies from top suppliers at affordable prices for experienced bakers and decorators to first time bakers in the Greater Houston area. We hope to share the love of baking to everyone, encourage them to be creative, and to share their baked goods to their families.
Sweet Street’s goal is to build a community of bakers that support one another and encourage individuals of all ages and backgrounds to try something new in baking. We strive to make baking a fun, interactive experience for everyone to learn and enjoy.
Right now, Sweet Street is a studio providing dessert decorating classes and events. We hope to one day to expand to be a retail space and classroom. With your love and support we can get there one day!

The name Sweet Street, just like my other business Street Treats, is inspired by my family last name "De La Calzada" which translates to "of the street".
Sweet Street aims to be a one-stop shop for all your baking needs!

Lauren Kay De La Calzada, Owner & Cake Decorator
Hi! I am also the owner of Street Treats by Lauren Kay specializing in custom cakes, macarons, and other treats. I am a self taught baker and am a full time registered nurse. Baking allows me to be creative while also sharing a treat with those I love. I am excited to make sweet memories with you!
